CNX introduces pvr function to their model “mini”

Thats right,the cnx mini (UNO) cnx’s basic stb receives basic recoding capabilities via usb device, such as a large usb stick or external hard drive.They call it limited pvr function in that it does not include timeshift and only a few timers,so no pausing of live tv.You will be able to record and playback with your mini,the format of recorded files will be the same of its big brothers the duo & trio as .TS files (Transport Stream). During playback you will be able to rewind and fast forward.So for those who wish to record a movie,take to your pc,convert it and burn to dvd with your favorite software,then this is right up your alley.At this time the 3rd party coding team known as Conaxsat Construct have no files for this,only the manufacturers with a factory file.Conaxsat Construct does of course plan on releasing 3rd party files that will from now on support this basic pvr function for the cnx mini.Yet just another great reason to try out a cnx mini if you haven’t yet.Of course cnx offers the duo model,for a full advanced,full featured pvr system along with the trio for added divx support for those looking for even more.

Press record to start recording.
Press play while watching tv to bring up list of recorded programs from memory device.
To set recording reservation in epg press record button over desired program(pressing record once brings up a green circle which will tune to that channel, pressing record twice brings up a red icon which will tune to the desired channel and record.)
The patch file is incorporated in this bin so no need to load a seperate patch.
